A defining moment at Atlanta

At Atlanta last night, the “RE” team had a battle till the end.  As all three teammates filled the top four spots most of the night, a late caution came out during green-flag pits that caught 2 of the 3 drivers a lap down.  Leaving the #17 of Duck to take on the duo of Cougar and Chris. For sometime, the “RE” team faired well even with leading the race.  But their goals and objectives changed direction when the #24 entered the picture.  Despite the hard racing and set backs by the late caution, the team finished in the top 10 ...

Objective #1 – COMPLETE

The “RE” team for the Sportsman Cup Series PERFORMED this evening at Bristol Motor Speeday for the “Food City 250″.  With the reset of points, the #7 of Gael Brooks lost his points lead to the #32 of Chris Bright.  But after the zero caution race, the #7 Dewalt Chevy is back on top with the points lead.  Doing a great job on tire management, the #7 performed flawlessly on the track and in pit road.  Being one of the first half of drivers to pit, he used his second stint for tire management catching drivers entering pit road for ...

you were “SERVED”

The #7 of Gael Brooks in the DeWalt Chevy “SERVED” those on the track as he stayed out and gambled with the fuel mileage to take the win at Pocono.  Another “RE” win with a new face!  In the beginning, the team worked at prolonging pit stops to gain an extra lap or two so they could pit together if a session stayed green.  Though the chance never came about, the team did what they could to keep the pressure on the leaders. All three powered their way through the field to be back up front to take control.  The 3 ...

“RE” Prepping for the Week.

The “RE” Team prepares for Pocono Monday night in the Magnum, and Iowa in the Sportsman Series.  In anticipation of tonight’s event at Pocono, the team, in their own words, “feels good” about tonight’s race.  “We are a little more comfortable than last time and we have a better understanding of what to look for after what we have witnessed in the past few races.” said Duck.  When asked to explain what they witnesssed, he refused to answer. The “RE” Magnum team came off with a win last time at Pocono but not a all in all ‘great race’ as they ...

at Kentucky.. a respectable finish

The “RE” team only consisted of Mies and Duck this past Monday as they went to Kentucky for the first race there in the Magnum Cup.  The #81 of Mieser took the pole with a statement.  A huge statement.  A statement so big that everyone felt it!  =)  Not only the pole would go to the Magnum Cup points leader but leading the most laps as well.  Throughout the race, Mies just seemed untouchable.  Towards the last quarter of the race, the #81 had a pretty decent lead with a green flag pit coming up on schedule.  But a caution ...

Kentucky Blues.

At Kentucky, the “RE” team had their ups and downs.  Mostly downs.  What started as a challenge for the lead ended up battling for 5th place at the end.  The #7 of Gael Brooks had his day turn for the worse when a solo spin destroyed the tires on his Dewalt Chevy.  Then, heading to pit road for tire replacement, he was caught speeding.  With cautions not playing in his favor, the #7 finished several laps down marking his worse finish so far this year. The #83 of Calob Mclaughlin lead a good chunk of the race seeming to manage the ...

#7 takes the Championship for “RE”

In the Diamond Series, the #7 of Gael Brooks takes the Championship!  Scoring 8 wins, he led the series over teammate Duck by a total of 44 points.  “The Racing Enterprises Team did well in the series (Diamond)”, said Duck.  “Three of our RE Silverado Trucks were in the top 4 in point standings and that says a lot for the team.  In the last race, Calob did a hell of a job trying to grab the RE team the top 3 in points but it just wasn’t meant to be.  But hell.. 3 of us in the top 4?  I’d say that’s ...
