Primary Objective:
In the FFRL "Off-Season", there are
two objectives we wish to accomplish. The first, to introduce
new drivers into a series or new drivers into the FFRL. The
second objective is to test new tracks for the 2009 season.
Tracks are constantly being updated and bugs being fixed. The
FFRL primarily uses tracks from "Safer Barrier Project".
Tracks that are not from SBP are filled with either
SuperSpeedway.net (Pocono) or Revamped (Indy, Infineon) |
|
In the FFRL "Off-Season", the server is open to the public for
possible new drivers interested into the FFRL. Car numbers are
not required at this time. It is recommended, but not
mandatory, that driver use the "default" cars in the opponents
manager so the field is not fully filled with generics. We do
realize that some will have duplicate numbers and therefore some
will be filled in with a generic. NEW drivers wishing to
participate will need to notify
admin@ffrl.org at least 4 hours prior to race start. Those
interested must download and install the anti-cheat software "Race
Inspector". A link will also be given for the track
download. |
|
The "SETUP" for the "Off-Season" is shorter than the actual races
during the season. Races will be run at 35% based on the
actual race length. EXAMPLE: Daytona in the Magnum
Series would be 35% of 500 miles. Daytona in the Sportsman
Series would be 35% of 300 miles. |
|
2 Weeks to go: At this time, all remaining practices
will be set and run according to Series Specifications.
Drivers who are currently with the FFRL or new to the FFRL, must
have their car files submitted by this time to allow time for upload
and for other drivers to grab the files. Server is still open
to the public at this time. |
|
1 Week to go: The final week of "Off-Season" practice
is only open to REGISTERED FFRL Drivers. All car files should
have already been submitted by this time and drivers should have
downloaded the cars for the series they wish to participate in. |
