FFRL Shootout
The FFRL Shootout is the second of four "non points" races that kicks off the season in early February and the initial start of the 2010 season.  To Qualify for the FFRL Shootout, the following criteria must be met:

• Captured a Pole Position in any FFRL Series in the 2009 Season
• Former Winner of the FFRL Shootout
• Qualified for 2009 Chase (Magnum and Sportsman)
• Is a past CUP Series Champion
• Rookie of the Year in 2009
• Former Winner of Daytona 500 (Magnum Cup Series)

The FFRL Shootout consists of 75 laps of racing that is broken down into two segments; 20 laps then 50 laps.

After the leader crosses the line to start Lap 25, the Administering Host will throw a MANDATORY YELLOW.  All drivers are required to pit at the same time doing whatever it is they wish to do on pit road.  Drivers can just do a drive through, add gas, change just right sides, or whatever they think will be the best strategy.  Once the field goes green, it's a 50 lap dash to the finish.

FFRL Shootout enrollees are taken from each of the four divisions; Magnum Cup Series, Sportsman Cup Series, Diamond, and the IROC Series of 2009.  18 drivers are qualified to enter the 2010 event.  Defending the 2009 title will be the #38 Ford driven by Will Long.
