On June 19th, 2010, the Indianapolis 500 will make it's 4th running here at the FFRL.  Using the 2007 OWR Mod, drivers will race a full 500 miles at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  This race is a "non points" race with one winner who is honored at the 2010 Awards Ceremony that takes place at the end of the season.

In recognition of the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing", the FFRL honors the Indy 500 with it's traditions.  Drivers will be forced using fixed setups to simulate the feel and tight competition.  After they complete their four qualifying laps, sit back and get ready for 200 laps of tight racing.  With the normal fuel stints around 30 laps or more, pit stop frequency is at 1X which sets each driver to have a 31 lap window.

The FFRL Indianapolis 500 is only open to FFRL drivers who compete in any of the four series available.  Drivers wishing to participate need to register at the bottom of this page.
